35 Weeks and Counting

Time has flown by and we are offically in the home stretch! On June 13 we go for our LAST two week appointment and then its on to EVERY week visits because our little bundle of joy could join us at any time! At our last ultrasound, Baby Trace was weighing just less than 6lbs and on his way to being a big baby! Everything appears to be developing normally and he is on track. We are hoping that he will show his face at the end of June/ EARLY July! We will try our best to keep everyone updated on the most current happenings with our little one and with how I am progressing. I am about 35 and 1/2 weeks along and looking forwarding having the baby out with us soon! Things are very hot in Phoenix and I am VERY uncomfortable!

On a fun note, my friend Natalie had a baby on Monday, June 2, 2008 at 6:03AM. Her baby, Logan Karl Johnson, weighed in at 8lbs 7oz 21 inches long. Matt and I had the opportunity to go visit them yesterday and now we are even more anxious to meet our little man! He is adorable and we are so happy for Natalie and Chad. I will post a picture as soon as I can get one!

During our visit we had the opportunity to scope out the new hospital Mercy Gilbert and were VERY impressed! I think we have decided that we will deliver there under normal circumstances! As long as we can make it the additional 8 miles past Chandler Regional, that is the hospital Trace will be born at! Hope that all of our friends and family will be able to come visit us once the baby is born.

Lastly, Matt and I have offically finished the nursery! Mom and I also got all the newborn and 3-6 month clothes washed and ready for little Trace. Our hospital bags should be packed and ready to go by this weekend! I am attaching some pictures of the nursery. Hope everyone will get an opportunity to come out and see it in person soon!

Those shelves in the baby's room don't have any brackets holding them up!! Is this magic?
