Our little baby is now 8 months old weighing in at 22.5lbs and 30 inches tall, he is a big boy! He eats anything and everything and is growing like a weed. He has learned how to creep across the floor to get things he wants, and most of the time, shouldn't have! He has developed quite the personality and loves to do funny things to get people's attention. Although he can crawl, he prefers that you hold his hand and let him walk. His big belly makes it kind of hard for him to lift himself up to crawl easily.
He recently got in his second tooth and I believe he is working on his top teeth as well!! It is fun to watch him eat food that he has chew because he pushes it to the front where he can bite down. As Katie tells me on a regular basis, "he is gifted." Ha.
Matt and I are taking a short vacation together this weekend to Vegas! We are so excited but anxious about leaving our little man for the first time. Fortunately he will be in wonderful hands with MeMe and DeDe and Nana all here to watch him. Not to mention Grandma and Grandpa right around the corner. I am sure there will be no issues, just a few tears from mom as she gets on the plane! We are planning on setting up a webcam so I can see my little bundle of joy each day we are gone and then it will open it up for future telecommunication between families!
I will attempt to update this blog more often in order to keep everyone up-to-date on current happenings at the Tucker Household!
